Free Hospital
Village folk in and around Dodda Mallur couldn't afford even basic health care facilities. The pain was felt by the trust members who immediately acted on this lacunae and ventured to set up Health Care Services for FREE.
The Hospital was thrown open to the residents of Mallur, and surrounding 12 villages. This was a great boon to them because basic tests such as blood test, B.P. checkup and ECG tests, medical examination and medicines are provided free of cost.
A qualified Doctor, Nurse, Lab, Assistant and Attendant work dedicatedly. Residential Quarters were built for the Doctor.
Unstinted help, co-operation and support of M/s. MVN Swamy and Sons, Sri Chandru Kowdly of USA, Smt. Ahalya Garudachar, Shri T.S.Raghvan, Shri M. Govindaraja Bhattar, K.R. Lakshmeesh and numerous others were instrumental in the success of this noble cause.
Dedicated staff at the hospital have a significant achievement - all of the medical cases are treated at this center itself and not a single case has been referred to a Speciality Centre.
It is proposed to extend / expand these facilities and also set up mobile health care services.
The trust seeks active cooperation from one and all to achieve this noble cause. All contributions all exempted from Income tax under section 80G.
